Shipping policy
As you know, Teacup's Paw Couture is an online ecommerce boutique only, therefore our products are shipped to you, directly from our vendors which are in many different locations. Your order may be shipped in a few different packages coming from the various different vendor locations. This means that sometimes, your order can arrive in more than one shipment. We do our best to keep you updated with regard to tracking and ETA.
Our products are shipped to you,directly from the designer/manufacturer. Shipping carriers include but are not limited to UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL according to the items ordered and the shipping destination. Once an order has been shipped we are no longer responsible for the whereabouts of your order though we will do our best to keep in touch with you regarding tracking or other other pertinent information. We recommend that once an item has been shipped that you keep in contact with the shipper directly once you have received your tracking number. We are not responsible for items that have been delivered but not received and recommend that you contact the shipping company should this happen. As always we will do our very best to help if this situation arises though once the item leaves our possession, the shipping company is then responsible to get the item to you.
We do offer International shipping and shipments outside of the U.S. may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer. Since duties and taxes vary by country and by what was ordered, we are not able to supply an estimated cost. Please contact your customs office for more information before ordering. These shipments cannot be returned or refunded. We do not have control over customs and are therefore not able to be responsible fordelays that may occur. Tracking information will be made available to you as soon as it ismade available to us.
Orders will be processed within 5 days and orders that are not custom made to order will be shipped within 20 days. Custom made to order products will be shipped once they are physically made and ready to be shipped out and this timeline can depend on supply availibility. If supplies need to be ordered, they will be ordered upon being processed, within 5 days, and once supplies are received by our designers, and provided that there is no waiting list, your orders will be started. Please allow 3-6 weeks for your item to be shipped out and if there are any delays, we will keep you updated throughout the entire process.
What happens if you need your order expedited? We can definitely do that for an added shipping charge so please contact us before placing your order so we can facilitate your expedited order and shipping.
What happens if part of my order is backordered? Within the US, if you order more than one item and one or more of your items are back ordered, the in-stock item(s) will be shipped out as normal. Your back ordered item(s) will be shipped separately at no additional charge when they become available. For International orders, we must wait for the entire order to be ready before we can ship it. This will save everyone on shipping costs.
Our delivery times are estimated. Certain delays are inevitable and out of our control. We cannot guarantee any specific time or date for shipment or delivery, though we will keep you updated throughout the entire order processing and shipment process. In a normal order delivery is typically within 30 days by our overseas vendors and within 20 days for our US vendors with the exception of custom made to order items. Delivery for custom made to order items can be up to 8 weeks, (usually 4-6 weeks) to include production, shipping and delivery. we will keep you updated on the statud of your order from processing to prodcution to shipping and delivery.
Please check to make sure the address you provide when you order is correct. Incorrect or undeliverable addresses and refused shipments resulting in an item being returned to the shipper will be charged for shipping fees. Undeliverable packages which require reshipment at the customer's request, are subject to a reshipment charge equivalent to the original shipping fees. This includes refusal of a package, unclaimed packages, or misinformation on the part of the customer. Should we be unable to reach the customer for resolution, a 50% restocking charge will be applied, and a store refund will be issued for the balance. Shipping and handling are non-refundable.
Our shipping calculations are done according to each manufacturer's preferred carrier and vary by product and location.
Please note that heavy, large and bulky products like Beds, Car Seats, Carriers, Dog Houses, Strollers, Armoires, Crates etc as well as items shipped from overseas, are not included in the free shipping rates. Fragile items must be specially packaged to ensure that your order arrives safely and in one piece and therefore are also not included in any free shipping rate.
PROCESSING TIME VS SHIPPING TIME
Please note that processing time (4-6 business days) is different from shipping time and should be added to the total delivery time. Orders generally take 4-6 business days to befully processed (checked, packed, forwarded to logistics and sent forth to the post office). After your order has been processed, our shipping company for dispatch will then pick upyour package. An email with your online tracking information will be available on our website. Processing Time - in very rare instances, may take longer than the stated expected timeframe. During busy time like holidays, promotions or other instances processing time mighttake longer. We do our best to deliver as fast as possible and seek your understanding and patience during such events.
