A mesh top allows your pup to breathe easily and it keeps him or her safely in the carrier.  Two handles on the back side of the carrier (trolley version) can slip easily over the top of a carry on roller bag making it easy to put it on top of the roller bag as you stroll through the airport or you can get the car carrier version, which easily connects to your vehicle's seat belt, keeping your little one safe.  Straps can be used in hand or over the shoulder.
